SO4670 : The Real Killhorse Lane

taken 12 years ago, near to Elton, Herefordshire, Great Britain

The Real Killhorse Lane
The Real Killhorse Lane
The aptly named steep western side of the Goggin pass between Orleton and the Vale of Wigmore. The road crosses a limestone ridge, a continuation of Wenlock Edge. The Goggin side is relatively gentle, but this is a brute, not fondly remembered in childhood bike trips.

Not to be confused with the OS error in naming the road over Maryknoll between Ludlow and Wigmore. This is the real thing, good luck.
