SO4670 : Killhorse Lane

taken 11 years ago, near to Elton, Herefordshire, Great Britain

Killhorse Lane
Killhorse Lane
The aptly named steep western side of the Goggin pass between Orleton and the Vale of Wigmore. The road crosses a limestone ridge, a continuation of Wenlock Edge. The Goggin side is relatively gentle, but this is a brute, not fondly remembered in childhood bike trips.
