The Seamer loop-holed wall is a rare survivor of Home Guard defences from the Second World War. The wall is outside the Old Vicarage in Main Street and is opposite St Martin's church. There is an inscription on the wall dated 1940 - TA0183 : Inscription on the loop-holed wall in Seamer
