The bridge itself can be seen on the extreme left. This is the Belfast to Dublin railway line. This was the most bombed bridge in Ulster during The Troubles. It was also the scene of a number of ambushes by both PIRA and the Crown Forces. Bullet marks can still be seen in the stonework.
