Castlehill Reservoir
The River Devon is dammed beneath Down Hill. Today during yet another rerun of a mild Winter in June, the reservoir was full sending water over the dam wall NO0002 : Castlehill Reservoir Overflowing into the small gorge below. Hopefully the rain and midges had cleared away the destructive low quality campers which plague the riversides below the dam.
The hill which potential dambusters have to avoid is Thornton Hill (OS name Lendrick Hill).
