Blanche at Boston Lodge

Blanche was originally built to operate the "main line" of the Penrhyn Railway between the SH6166 : Penrhyn Quarry workshops and quarries at Bethesda and the wharves at Porth Penrhyn. With the demise of the quarry network and the restoration of the Ffestiniog Railway Blanche found a new lease of life which still continues today. In this 1976 picture she is sat outside the Ffestiniog Railway workshops at Boston Lodge.
