Flooding at Stoke Farthing
Flooding at Stoke Farthing
Ditches overflowing after an afternoon of heavy rain in the hamlet of Stoke Farthing. The name Stoke Farthing has nothing to do with money, but is a delightful corruption of the name of Rois de Verdum who held the manor in 1242.
