I must have been standing on, what is now, the location of the viaduct seen in TR1837 : Ashford Road, (A20), Newington. To my right, a white van can be seen speeding along the A20. The North Downs form a backdrop with the rounded bulk of Summerhouse Hill between the two crane jibs and the radio mast of Tolsford Hill on the right.
