This is shown on the OS in precisely this position. Having walked here Iím still no wiser to what it is or was. Perhaps something is visible from the river. The short concrete pillars in the foreground, almost hidden by the grass, presumably had some function.

Fiddlers Ferry Power Station is on the other bank of the river.

A geograph correspondent points out that the Vyrnwy aqueduct passes immediately below this point and suggests that the Round Chevaral may have had something to do with its construction.
