Cromer Pier and compass feature
Cromer Pier and compass feature
The pier forecourt and promenade were updated in 2005/06 as part of the Cromer Prospect project. The compass features 24 radiating lines pointing towards the location of 27 of the most famous RNLI rescues undertaken by the Cromer boats, with information about these rescues inlaid into the granite lines in brass.
