taken 12 years ago, near to Findhorn, Moray, Scotland

Ripples on Findhorn Beach
Ripples on Findhorn Beach
Like many others, the beach north of Findhorn has a low sandbar to seaward and a shallow lagoon to landward. Ripples left by the tide protrude from the water like a miniature archipelago.
