SD2195 : Thick wall at Low Hall

taken 12 years ago, near to Hall Dunnerdale, Cumbria, England

Thick wall at Low Hall
Thick wall at Low Hall
This drystone wall beside the footpath is overly thick for the purpose. It was probably also used as a repository for stones collected off nearby fields. The walls around Wasdale Head are prime examples of this Link Caw is the peak soaring above the dale.
