Church of St Mary and St Peter
Built from a mixture of local ironstone and limestone ashlar in the Perpendicular style, this church is a Grade I listed building dating from 1323 or earlier. The nave and north arcade is 12th century, the south aisle is early 13th century, the tower is early 14th century. The church was restored by Oldrid Scott in 1856, when the south porch was added. The tower was restored in 1891.
