Village pond at Harlaxton
Attractive pond with friendly ducks on the appropriately named Pond Street. Behind the wall is the garden of John O'Gaunt Cottage - a reference to the original 14th century manor house which stood here and was used by him as a hunting lodge. The pond is part of the original moat, which is well-preserved on the south side.
