Looking down the eastern slopes of Fuar Tholl, towards Achnashellach. Loch Dłghail is on the right of the photo.

Most guides recommend not to descend from Fuar Tholl in this direction, as it is rather steep and rocky, with several areas of crags and cliffs. But it is the most direct route to the railway station at Achnashellach.

A small stream flows from a lochan at the base of these cliffs. It runs down the hill to join the River Lair.
