SJ5079 : Embankment, Frodsham Marsh

near to Weston, Halton, Great Britain

Embankment, Frodsham Marsh
Embankment, Frodsham Marsh
I suspect (though I don't know for certain) that the raised land on the right - now being grazed by sheep - is reclaimed industrial land. The wet meadow to the left looked more like a remnant of the original Frodsham Marsh before it was drained. Frodsham (SJ5278) and Frodsham Hill (SJ5176) are visible in the background.
