This is a continuation of Loomer Road, and indeed some maps show this as being part of that road. It leads back to Chesterton from the Country Park's main car park. Originally this road would have been used by people working in the mine here. By the red dog waste bin on the right, is a set of stairs running up to an overflow car park.
