Scratching pony on Setley Plain, New Forest
Scratching pony on Setley Plain, New Forest
This pony is scratching its neck on a tree stump, near the northern edge of Setley Plain. For more delicate scratching operations the ponies will groom each other, but they will make use of any available scratching post to itch those hard-to-reach spots. The silver birches in the background are to the west of Latchmoor House.
