Tom na Faire railway depot
Tom na Faire railway depot
This railway depot is signed as "Fort William Freight Centre", and is used by EWS. As well as freight trains, it is also the base for the Jacobite steam train, operated by West Coast Railways. The steam train was away when the photo was taken, but some parked carriages are visible on the right.

This is the view from the old Inverlochy Cemetery. Cow Hill is visible on the left, with Tom na Faire in front below. For views of the railway depot from Tom na Faire, see NN1175 : Fort Willam Loco Depot and NN1175 : Fort William - OS viewpoint.
