Cumulonimbus cloud
An active storm cloud from the ridge of the Hog's Back. One feature to note is the pileus or cap cloud which has formed over the top of the main cloud. The rapidly rising air within the cloud is causing the upper air flow to be distorted upwards allowing condensation to occur to form the cap. Occasional lightning bolts could be seen. The rainfall was giving the Guildford to Dorking area a good soaking.
