Looking west from the slipway across the expanse of sand exposed at low tide.
The tractor on the left belongs to the lifeboat station, for hauling the station's Atlantic 75 Inshore LifeBoat (ILB) "Douglas Paley", code B-742, on its trailer, from the Lifeboat Station to the sea and back again.
This has since been replaced by the Atlantic 85-class Rib B-861 "Glanely" Link
