The CIE weed-spraying train, hauled by 169S, crossing Kingsbog level crossing on the Glengormley – Ballyclare road. At the time of the photograph the line was closed to all services and being worked as one section between Antrim and Bleach Green. The five level crossing gates were opened by the train’s guard. The line has since been re-opened and singled. The gates were replaced by automatic half-barriers J2985 : Kingsbog level crossing. This one J2985 : Diesel locomotive at Kingsbog Junction shows a similar view in March 1978.
