Castles of Munster: Templeconnell, Cork

Taken over by the Percivals in 1656, this four storey tower originally belonged to the Magners. Stairs rise from the entrance in the south wall to the SW corner, doubling back over a chamber with a murder hole. Just fragments remain of a fifth storey.
