The B684 road (Woodborough Rd) as it heads towards Mapperley Plains. This is the Dorket Head junction in the Borough of Gedling. Dorket refers to the head (the top) of a mountain pass or hill. This is the highest point in Nottingham area at 146 metres or 550 ft above sea level. The road on the right is Calverton Road leading to Arnold and the left-hand turning passes Martin's Farm and on towards Calverton. Lime Lane is behind the photographer.
