SW8020 : Dean Point Jetty

taken 17 years ago, near to Porthoustock, Cornwall, England

Dean Point Jetty
Dean Point Jetty
The overhead system that was formerly used to convey quarried gabbro rock on to vessels at the jetty has been dismantled in the past year (see SW8020 : Dean Quarries). Sadly, all quarried rock is now transported by lorry, through the narrow Cornish lanes around St Keverne.
