A view towards Belmont Reservoir, from the Witton Weavers Way on Longworth Moor.

Belmont Reservoir occupies the valley just to the north of Belmont village. It was built in 1826 by Bolton Waterworks to supply water to the rapidly expanding town of Bolton.
