Stainforth and Keadby Canal, Keadby
Stainforth and Keadby Canal, Keadby
Not sure what the children are laying on, but they have attachments welded to them which allows them to be lifted broadest end uppermost. Maybe they are used to block off part of the canal for remedial work?
The bridge is a swing bridge, which is pivoted from this side of the canal.
The mast is of the Spider T, a restored Humber Sloop, which took part in the celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, on the River Thames.
