The village hall was officially opened in August 2011. It replaced the original Crawley Hall, built in 1924 and given in trust for the use of the people of the parish by the Crawley family of Bryngwyn. It was a timber-frame building with a corrugated sheet metal exterior. Painted green, the hall was known locally as the Green Shed. In October 2008, after the original hall's structure was damaged, the decision was made to build a new community hall with modern facilities.
