Farrier's workshop - Pitstone Farm Museum
Farrier's workshop - Pitstone Farm Museum
The large blacksmith's workshop at Pitstone Farm Museum is split into two sections, this righthand one having paraphernalia more applicable to a farrier - a blacksmith specialising in horse metalwork, particularly horseshoes. This is a topical theme for me, as my surname is a corruption of "Farrier"
The other side contains the forge and more general smithing equipment (see SP9315 : Blacksmith's forge)
