Dilhorne Colliery
Dilhorne Colliery
The conserved head gear at this long disused colliery site. The upcast is on the left and the downcast on the right. The brick building in the left background is the downcast steam winding engine house. The shadows bottom right are hiding parts of a dismantled Robey steam winding engine that will hopefully be restored one day. This site is now part of the Foxfield Railway and was open as part of the Summer Steam Gala.
