West Lulworth: the path to Durdle Door beach is closed
Persistent rain over the last month, some of it extremely heavy over the last few days, has eventually led to a landslide coinciding with the position of the steps to the beach. More than merely 'closed', the path has actually completely disappeared at its central section.

The only access to the beach now is by way of the very slippery grass bank just out of shot to the left - see SY8080 : West Lulworth: a slippery diversion.
