Long abandoned topmost rubbish run from the top of Bwlch-y-groes Quarry
This run from the top of the pit dates back to the eighteenth century and ends in a single overgrown waste tip which, in a quarry with extensive nineteenth century rubbish runs and waste tips, still forms a prominent landmark because of its actual position on the top of the slope.
