Boscobel House, a view from an upstairs window
In the foreground, there is what can only be described as an early sun house, mounted on top of a large mound of earth, which gives a very good view of the house and garden. To the right of the building, all that is left of the son of the original Oak that King Charles 2nd hid in, is now surrounded by steel railings, with a grandson of the original Oak just to the left of it, ready to follow on the tradition.
