SK8566 : Former public house, North Scarle

taken 6 years ago, near to North Scarle, Lincolnshire, Great Britain

Former public house, North Scarle
Former public house, North Scarle
Formerly the 'Sedan Chair', it closed sometime around 1970. The give-away for its previous existence is the word 'Ales' still just discernible in the faded sign. Note the rows of projecting bricks in the right hand gable showing where there was once a pigeon loft in the roof. (Thanks to Peter Cowan for info about the name)
