St. Anthony's Chapel, Holyrood Park
St. Anthony's Chapel, Holyrood Park
Very little is known of St. Anthony's Chapel, although it is believed that this former two storey structure was built on land once owned by the monks of Kelso Abbey. There is reference to a grant paid by the pope in 1426 for carrying out repairs to the chapel, indicating that St. Anthony's was built some time prior to this date.
