The loughshore, Rough Island near Comber (2)
The shore of Strangford Lough on the eastern side of Rough Island. The pebbles and boulders are typical, inshore of the inter-tidal mud. The red band on the island (background) is (I think) boulder clay.
Rough Island, Strangford Lough
A small island of about six acres, connected to the rest of Co Down by a causeway (covered at high water) from the end of the Ringcreevy Road near Comber.
