HSC Mannanan approaching the Pier Head
The catamaran was an impressive sight as it approached the Isle of Man ferry terminal at the Pier Head. It has an interesting history and has had several names since it was first built in 1998 - see LinkExternal link and LinkExternal link The photo was taken from the prow of the Royal Iris Mersey ferry, which was moored at the new multi-million pound landing stage LinkExternal link See also SJ3390 : HSC Mannanan and the IOM ferry landing stage and SJ3390 : HSC Mannanan at the Pier Head
