SK8466 : Cleaning the Mill Dam Dyke
near to North Scarle, Lincolnshire, Great Britain

Cleaning the Mill Dam Dyke
This comes under the responsibility of the Newark Area Internal Drainage Board who are responsible for the drainage of land on both side of the River Trent. The machine seen here scythes and catches vegetation to maintain a clean channel. A separate head can probably be fitted to dredge silt from the channel as well.
