TG5108 : Vauxhall Bridge

near to Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, Great Britain

Vauxhall Bridge
Vauxhall Bridge
The last bridge over the River Bure before its confluence with the Yare was built to carry the Great Eastern Railway's branch to Yarmouth's docks. Since the closure of the branch the main spans have been redundant and quietly rusting way, but the southern road still provides useful access for pedestrians and cyclists between Yarmouth's only remaining station and the town centre and seafront.
