taken 11 years ago, near to Old Burghclere, Hampshire, Great Britain

From Ladle Hill
From Ladle Hill
Looking down into valley between Ladle Hill and Beacon Hill, the slopes of which can be seen rising at the top of the shot. The valley is mostly arable, though as you can see, some sheep are grazed. The wood is the northern of two rectangular coverts that are aligned from east to west beneath the down.
