Market Gate
Market Gate
Market Gate is the meeting point of Warrington's four main streets; Horsemarket Street, Buttermarket Street, Bridge Street and Sankey Street. The green sculpture, seen here in front of Holy Trinity Church, is one of 10 "skittles", part of an award-winning design by American artist Howard Ben Tre. The sculpture represent the Ten Guardians and the Well of Light; the Ten Guardians symbolising the people who have protected or worked for Warrington.
