The Bankes Arms Hotel

This taken from the raised pavement on East Street that take pedestrians around and onto the village Square. This hotel and pub is situated on the corner of Station Road (the street that goes to the car park of the Corfe Castle station) and East Street (the main A351 from Wareham to Swanage). The white building in front is The Greyhound pub and Corfe Castle can be seen towering above it, in the distance. Cars, lorries and buses come tearing around this bend and sometimes very close to the corner of the Bankes Arms!
