The middle and upper parts of Bryn-y-groes Quarry
The middle and upper parts of Bryn-y-groes Quarry
This view is taken from beyond the collapsed rubbish run bridge in the general direction of the pit. It shows the middle level run, the ruins and fields of a smallholding called Ty'n-y-mynydd (house in the mountain), the eighteenth century top level waste tip and the top backwall of the pit.
