Mersey Road and a bench mark
Mersey Road and a bench mark
Looking along Mersey Road towards the River Mersey. The fenced-off gateway on the left at one time seems to have been the 'Tradesman's entrance' to a large house called 'The Beach', however, that house had been demolished by the time of the 1927 O.S. map. There is a bench mark is on the old sandstone gatepost on the left - SJ3885 : Bench mark in Mersey Road, Aigburth
