Memorial Fountain, Queens Gardens
Water fountain and octagonal drinking trough with the inscription - 'Robert Ockleston died 1888, memorial erected 1889'. Ockleston was a notable Cheadle doctor. The fountain is sandstone, polished granite and cast iron. A circular polished granite column rises from an elaborate base and has enriched capital with inscription and heraldic shields. A weather vane is situated on top formerly with four light pendants.

The memorial formerly stood at the centre of Cheadle Green. Listed Grade II.
