Towards town from the Radcliffe Road End

This picture was taken from the western end of the Radcliffe Road Stand at Trent Bridge Cricket Ground. In the foreground are the top storeys of shops on Radcliffe Road. The Rushcliffe Civic Centre (council offices in what was originally an hotel, built in the 1960s) is on the right and the former Turney Bros Trent Bridge Leather Works, now flats, in the middle distance on the city side of the river. Nottingham Castle is on the skyline between Turney Court and the Civic Centre. SK5838 : No play on a grey day is a view towards here from the Castle.
