NG3849 : Allt Dearg gorge

Allt Dearg gorge
Allt Dearg gorge
I managed to find this place where I could scramble carefully down to the bottom of the deep gorge to find a scene of a river flowing through a rich biodiversity of trees, ferns, grasses and flowers. It is such a contrast with the bleak boggy heather moorland above the sides of the gorge. Gorge from above: NG3850 : Gorge of the Allt Dearg .
