NU0800 : Black Burn

taken 17 years ago, near to Pauperhaugh, Northumberland, England

Black Burn
Black Burn
During its short course from the Cragside woodlands to the River Coquet, the Black Burn crosses into this square twice; this is a scene from the southern occasion. The woodland on the west bank gives way to allow field access to the water - I think this may have been a ford.
