Ruins in Cwm Egnant
Ruins in Cwm Egnant
Evidence perhaps of mineral extraction. Ceredigion has been heavily mined for metals such as copper, lead, zinc and silver for nearly 4,000 years although these ruins won't date as old as that. Possibly something to do with the Cistercian Abbey at Strata Florida, which owned most of the surrounding landed and certainly exploited its minerals.
