Remains of a landslip
In 2006 the road that gave most of Raasay's population access to the then ferry terminal at Suisnish was closed by collapsing cliffs above it. After blasting the dangerous material clear this new road was constructed below. Now there is a new ferry terminal at Clachan, this road serves only a few remote habitations at the south end of the island.
