Oriel Plas Glyn y Weddw
Oriel Plas Glyn y Weddw
Plas Glyn y Weddw was built by the Bangor architect, Henry Kennedy, as a dower house for Lady Elizabeth Love Jones Parry in the 1850s. The building was designed to display works of art and in 1896 the hall was sold to a Cardiff entrepreneur, Solomon Andrews, who maintained it as a venue for cultural events including art.
These days it is open to the public as an art gallery and also hosts other events including weddings.
